It's not rocket science
Say you had a box set say Eric Clapton - Crossroads, who has made
recordings with different artists as well as solo:
Track - Layla
Artist - Derek and the Dominoes
Album - Crossroads
Album Artist - Eric Clapton
Track - Badge
Artist - Cream
Album - Crossroads
Album Artist - Eric Clapton
Track - Wonderful Tonight
Artist - Eric Clapton
Album - Crossroads
Album Artist - Eric Clapton
and so on, it's only really useful for albums for which an Artist has
used different persona.
