Pons and Fleischmann. It was invented decades before them, and
is certainly not evidence for this assertion:
Fleischmann and Pons were mistaken, but there were definitely on to
something.
Finally found a better link to the original article, but not the
commercialized version I recall reading about. This is from the
Institute of Physics:

Will that do?
Not really. It's another report on the same scientific finding (note the
Nature reference). It was published on the same day too.
This was over 5 years ago and googling does not highlight any commercial
product based on this research. It looks like a one-off to me.
