I just keep going back to Mail and Safari.

I spent a portion of today setting up Postbox with a though to using it
for my mail needs. It took an inordinate amount of time to get
everything working; filters for auto-replies, signatures, and multiple
identities in MobileMe.

I tried it using IMAP on the Google accounts, and they do work better
with a Mozilla based app than in Mail. I also have problems with GoDaddy
accounts in Mail as well (apparently quite common).

I also tried using FireFox as the default browser for a bit.

But, in both cases, the cluttered and messy interfaces just drive me
back to Mail and Safari within a few hours. I don't know what it is
exactly, as they're not perfect either, but there is something about
their simple and uncluttered appearance that I find appealing.

Same here....

I do use Firefox. Now with various added thingygummys that make it
useful but also make it look a horrible mess. But it is not my main
browser, Safari is and is always open and in use.

I've tried a variety of mail programs and, well, hate them all. They all
do the job, with different degrees of awkwardness. So I keep going back
to Mail.app although it is a long way away from being pefect for me...

I want Claris Emailer 2 again, not feature rish, but did the job
reliably. Or better still, CyberDog, although it wasn't all that stable,
it was extensible, and had a nice interface.

I would like Eudora 8, except I feel they've only used the worst parts
of both systems.
