I accept that, and failing all else I shall use it. I am, however, quite
partial to doing things the *nix way (hence my using slrn). I'm also
both a glutton for punishment, and one who enjoys the challenge of
something new. :)

So I'm gonna bash away a bit more at the cron/anacron solution now that
Steve has explained how it would work.
