I believe I can tell you've never had a Mac laptop! Right-cmd plus the
arrow keys are very useful, btw.

I'm assuming I've just had some sort of mental blindness about this.
It's probably along the lines of one of those conditions like
prosopagnosia or that lady recently in the news who could only
recognise the voice of Sean Connery!

Thinking about it, the right-ctrl on a full size PC keyboard isn't
much used either. As I'm a touchtyper I guess I just don't really
look at the keyboard all that much...
This is before I get into my compulsive need to prise off the caps
lock key on all my desktops, on the grounds that it just seems to have
been put there to irritate me when I press it accidentally.
