I don't use amsn but clicking red buttons is the usual way of hiding an
application. In other words minimising to the dock.
If that doesn't work click the orange button.


Um, red (x) = close, yellow (-) = "minimise", green (+) = zoom.

Except in loads of instances .. like Skype, Firefox (loads others and
an equal number of exceptions).

Zoara offered a reasonable explanation of what they do a while back
and although pretty good isn't completely consistent.
