Can't tell for Hanging On The Telephone, but your library has a track
labelled "Union City Blues" and it's recommending "Union City Blue". A
swift search shows that iTMS has the track name right and yours is
incorrectly labelled, hence it didn't recognise it.
It's on my album sleeve as "Blues" not "Blue" though.
Also, why does it assume that because I like "Have a Bad Day" by
Mikabomb, that I also want "Bad Day" by three different artists? Does it
think I like songs with certain names?!
It feels that you might like that song and want to see how different artists
render it. I, for example, have "Paint It Black" as done by several artists,
including three versions by the Stones, each of which is performed
differently. I also have "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" by multiple
artists... and Oleta Adams' version has very little to do with any of the
Elton John versions, which in turn are _not_ the same as the Roger Daltrey
version. If I select one of those tracks and have Genius build a playlist, it
correctly builds _different_ playlists for each version, and the various
playlists might contain one or two of the other versions but not all of them.
Sinead O'Connor's version of "Sacrifice" is, IMHO, vastly superior to Elton
John's; Elton's version doesn't show in a playlist built on O'Connor's
version.
But then I've got 13,665 songs in my iTunes library so far, and I _still_
haven't moved all of my old vinyl over yet. Some day I have to get around to
doing that.
It should be noted that Genius does still need work; if I build a playlist
starting with Heather Alexander's "March of Cambreadth", it properly picks up
a lot of my piper songs. It also seems to think that Enya songs should be on
that list. Worse, it insists that "Breakfast at Tiffanys" should be on the
list, too.
