I wouldn't mind getting her a proper iPod Dock, but at £29 for what's a
plastic base with pass-through connections, it seems a bit steep.
Thoughts?
I bought a USB charging kit from Argos last year - mains plug with 2x
USB ports and 1x mini USB on it, plus a cable with a selection of phone
charging adaptors.
I have successfully charged my iPhone and iPod Video from it using a
standard Apple iPod USB lead (said leads can be swapped between iPod and
iPhone, too).
Cheers for the pointer Steve, I'll have a look in there. My main concern
was leaving the iPod attached to the charger, does it switch to trickle
OK?
Yes, it's all very well controlled. Lithium ion batteries have to be,
or they blow up. Kaboom.
have just received a 2nd 3 quid car charger off ebay - charges the
iphone 3g nicely. yay!
Ooh - what's the ebay ID? I'd like a car charger that works.
Cheers - Jaimie
