Wups. I missed the date, just read the bit about Bind targetting
client and server and took it as a new version.
Hey ho. Still, since Bind isn't enabled on OSX client by default,
there's still no local attack surface except in the vanishingly rare
case of people enabling Bind themselves and not having heard about the
current problems.
Yep. If they know enough to set up BIND, they know enough to secure it. Or
they bloody well should. Everyone else uses their ISP's DNS, or DNS from a
3rd party such as OpenDNS... Oops, that's right, Jimmy-boy here praised
OpenDNS on the 6th and damned them on the 8th. Guess we can't use them. He
won't say why, though.
