iPhoto and Canon Easy-PhotoPrint

Before moving to a Mac I always used Easy-PhotoPrint for the printing of my
photos that I liked very much. I installed it on my Mac version 3.70 which
appears to be the one if you are running Mac OS X 10.5.4. When I first
tried to use it by connecting my printer via the USB port on my mac it said
there was no compatible printer installed, even though if I wanted to print
anything else like a document there was no problem at all. Anyway I thought
perhaps I ought to download the driver for the printer which I did and Easy
Photo-Print then started up and I thought I was sorted but when I try to
select the folder where my photos are iPhoto doesn't appear in any drop down
list for me to select. I am at a loss now how to solve this. My version of
iPhoto is iPhoto 08 version 7.1.4
I know I can print from iPhoto but I would prefer to use Easy Photo-Print.
Can anyone help me resolve this please.
