Yep, the vertical scrolling on mine is the first to go.
I have cured it with isopropyl alcohol washing several times now.
(you can get it a Maplins, sometimes called IPA, brand name Servisol.)
Once I used ethanol. It made it worse, but it finally dried out after a
few hours and it survived completely.
