Hah. I've never been able to discern quality differences among
composite, s-video, and channel 3. At least, not on my equipment.
Composite ve RGB/component/any digital is visibly different, I've
never had a telly that speaks S-Video so I'm going by received wisdom.
Composite is *definitely* the lowest possible quality choice. And it's
what I use at home.
On the other hand, I _think_ I can see the difference between component
and HDMI on my big-screen teevee, but that's so subtle that I'm probably
just fooling myself or drinking too much.
Maybe you can - I can certainly tell the difference between VGA and
DVI on this 24" monitor, although component ought to be a little
better than VGA (and both are sensitive to crap cables, unlike the
digital inputs).
