Re: Lost and found

Hi

I have a 'lost and found' folder on my drive and it's taking up 1Gb of
space. Can I safely delete it or might this result in problems?

Where is it? On your desktop? At the root of your drive (ie at the level
of Applications, System, Library and Users)?

Do you use any backup systems or undelete utilities? This sounds
familiar to me - maybe Retrospect?

What does it contain? Files you created, or system-ey looking files?

NB, if it's actually called "lost+found" (rather than "lost and found"),
it may have something to do with running fsck. Have you run this
manually? Have you had your Mac crash out (completely) on you recently?
