Except you can't boot from a floppy. Or can you? Am I missing something?
I know it will allow me to install from CD/DVD but that's not the point

Parallels 3.0?
In the VM Confguration Editor, under 'Options' you get to choose a boot
sequence. { HDD, CD, Floppy } or { Floppy, HDD, CD } or { CD, HDD, Floppy }
I assume you already have your floppy image files? I'm pretty sure you can
change the image while the VM is running.
