I didn't notice anything in the release notes about USB fixes, did I
miss something?
There are lots of USB device driver related files in the BOM for the update,
but nothing mentioned in the release notes.
But it's a strange coincidence you should mention it - I have an APC UPS,
and soon after plugging the USB cable into my Mac, system logs reveal it's
having problems - every 6m40s I get
Feb 5 23:15:00 Barney kernel[0]: USBF: 225247.476 [0x3130600] The
IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate a device.

IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged
in. It will keep retrying. (Port 2 of hub @ location: 0x4b400000)
.... and the menu bar icon would disappear.
This happened in Tiger as well. Now with 10.5.2 those errors have
disappeared and it's all working just dandy. I was starting to think I'd
have to return the "faulty" UPS!
