Most things aren't mentioned in the manuals.
When browsing a list of videos you can delete videos by swiping left
over one. A little red delete box appears and if you tap on it the
file is removed from your library without having to go through all the
palavour of having to do it through iTunes.
It only seems to work with videos though, you can't remove music or
podcasts like this as far as I can tell.
Where you can remove things, this is the way you do it.
