Gradwell non-voip

I was putting up an ebay listing for a guitar, and wanted the details
from my website.

It was not responding, and the rest of the internet is. I looked at
service status and nothing reported.

This seems to be happening more and more. Anyone else noticed this? Sab
has been complaining that more and more people don't get emails from the
site, as they are blacklisted (and not just for aol). I don't know - I
haven't looked at that.

I have always sworn by gradwell, although they seem more interested in
voip rather than web now (which is understandable, it is more
interesting and financially rewarding) but I am getting a bit more
annoyed.

The ping time to gradwell is 40ms, the ping time to my godaddy servers
is 171ms. Both sites seem as fast to use though. I am getting tempted to
switch them over. I think I might run things parallel and do some uptime
tests to see who is more reliable.

Gradwell have been great and I have been with them for quite a long time, however now my web sites have been down all afternoon. ... It would be more convenient as I can use java server pages, whereas the credit card checkout is a bit of a nasty cludge that involves shelling out to java, although it was nice of gradwell to set it up so I could do that. ...
