New iMac in small business.
I just discovered that my SENT messages are not being saved on the
server of my IMAP account.
I spoke to my ISP guy who doesn't know why. None of the emails I sent
since last week are stored on the sever.
Have you told Mail which folder to use for Sent items? It might be silently failing (ick) because you've not set it. Mailbox > Use this Mailbox for > ...
He suggested I untick the option to save on seever an this DOES work...
but what's the point in an IMAP account ? I need to sync with my iMac
at home every day as I work from both locations.
Anyone ?
He ought to be able to see what folders the client's trying to access on the server, and help you that way.
But rest assured that saving to a Sent items folder *does* work.
