Is it just me, or is iMovie 06 a bit on the crap side? Got it running on
a 10.5.1 and while it's never crashed while in the process of importing
video from my Sony camcorder via Firewire, it's crashed when I've
pressed the Import button (even tho the camcorder has started playing),
it's crashed when I've tried to select a clip to play after importing,
it's lost its menus (everything greyed out) after saving, and it's even
crashed out when I've closed a movie and pressed the button for "new movie".
Not much help to you, but I used it last week to edit about 30 minutes
of video down to a 12 minute movie. It worked flawlessly.
