I'm sure there's something in the manual to say you shouldn't try

I tried poking it into the slot. Nothing happened except I now
have a mini CD in my MacBook Pro's drive. It's not spinning or
anything - just lying there bemused and unreachable. To make
matters worse, when it wasn't sucked in automatically instead of
removing it I pushed it in as far as I could and now it's
disappeared.
By all means call me stoopid but please also advise me how I might
get the thing out. IIRC, Apple in their infinite wisdom don't
"do" manual cd ejection :-( though I'm hoping I'm wrong on that
one!
Thanks in advance

I seem to remember Zoara or someone getting one of these out - using
a thin piece of card with double sided tape on the end. If you can
get it in the slot and down onto the disc, it might stick and then
you can pull it out.
There is something in the manual that says the drive only takes 12cm
discs or whatever it is.
I'm not aware of any slot-loader at the moment that takes a 6cm.
