Is there some way to persuade Pages to save a document in the same
format that it was opened with? For example, if I open an RTF document,
can I have Pages keep saving it as RTF, instead of having to choose
Export?
Secondly, is there some way to save RTF documents form Pages as ,rtf?
Pages insists on using .rtfd.

Pages' inability to save rather than export to RTF stops me using it as
a day to day tool.
