It works here, so it might just be a corrupt pref file. Try deleting
that,
Please tell me where to find the "pref" file - I use a Mac, but have
only a little knowledge of where the OS keeps things.
The easiest thing to look for is go to www.macupdate.com, and search for
AppleWorks Mechanic. This will do some clearing of such things for you.
If you don't have any luck, I have a copy here if you need it (it's only
264k).
If you want the adventerous method, then go into your
Username/Library/Preferences/AppleWorks, and delete the Preferences file
there.
