Networking Leonard and XP (Home)

I can transfer files from Mac to 'doze but, although 'doze shows the
Mac, all I can see is 'printers and faxes'; I don't really understand
the file sharing in Leonard - I managed it under Tigger, but this just
has me confused; I've tried enabling SMB, FTP and AFP in various
combinations, but no go.

Could someone please tell me how I'm supposed to get this to work? I
have files I need to transfer back to the Mac (not least my iTunes
library and my father's quiz!)
