my sister was about that, my dad, was over 6ft by 12, has rather silly
photos of him in short trousers....

my sister had further problems of being a tall teen girl and being in
south wales ie where they are hardly tall.

My mother's 5'10" and her mother was from South Wales and 5' tall when
stood up straight.

quite a few of the posties, when i worked there where 5 foot tall, mind
you there was a few 6ft or over.

Funny one, that, isn't it?

just with a almost 100% male workforce, that even in that part of wales
which is short, there are tall folks as well.

Ye gods! What was it, the fairies swapped her when she was young,
or what? Magic potion?

I do wonder myself sometimes.

My mother hit that height by the age of 28 and hated it... She's
about 1/4" taller than me, btw.

Well, I'm 6ft 1in, my dad is 6ft 4in, my FIL is 6ft 5in. Most of the
women in our families are in the high 5ft somethings too.

my dads side they go in for fairly dramtic height jump.

Sa allways feels small at around my familly as the shortest is my mum
at 5'10

I'm the shortest in my family at `just under 5'10"'. My two brothers
and both parents are taller...

funny how it goes.

My mother's mother was 5'. Her son is well over 6', and her two
daughters are both taller than me - not too sure how tall my auntie
Betty is, but I think it's about an inch taller than her big sister, my
mum.

yeah height does varie up and down.

Rowland.
