I don't use Apple's DHCP services, I use Pipex's.Good job too ....
If it had been Apple's it wouldn't have gone down.
But had it done it would have only affected the 5% of you <weg>
Things have never been the same since Pipex switched from the
ultra-reliable Zeus servers to that pos Microsoft IIS.
That must be it then .. M$'s fault ;-)
Hope it all comes back soon Peter ...
Me too.
Seems like it hasn't so far? :-(
All back on line. No explanation, par for the course for ISPs.
Yup .. as you say .. <sigh>.
And your ADSL problem has now mucked up our Topfield TF5800PVR <shakes
fist at Peter>!
That'll learn ya.
It will .. I will have to build my next one myself eh!
Funnily, the previous more DIY PDVR solution using the Thompson DTI
2300 DTV STB into the Lite-On LVW-5026 (HDD / DVD recorder) was both
rock solid reliable and most practical (having a DVDRW) all be it less
'integrated'.
Yes, the fancy features on the Toppy are nice but no good if it keeps
rebooting .. :-(
All the best ..
