Recommendation for SATA card and external drive for old and new machines
I want to move the user disc on my server from internal to external.
These days I guess the interface of choice is SATA. We're not doing
anything heavy duty, just office use for 10 people.
So I wonder would would be a recommendation for an SATA card and
external drive enclosure, RAID1.
Current server is 10.3.9 server on G4/733
When Leopard comes out I'll get a new xServe to run Leopard Server.
Am I going to be able to use the same card in both machines?
Rackmount disc enclosure would be nice, but I was hoping to spend £200 -
£300, and I doubt that I will get rackmount for this amount.
I'd be gateful for any recommendations for anything that people have had
good experiences of.
