Any reason why the following DDR DIMM shouldn't work in a PPC Mac Mini:
? Module Size: 2GB
? Package: 184-pin DIMM
? Feature: DDR PC2700
? Specs: DDR PC2700 ? CL=2.5 ? Registered ? ECC ? DDR333 ? 2.5V ?
256Meg x 72
The listed maximum supported config is:
? Module Size: 1GB
? Package: 184-pin DIMM
? Feature: DDR PC2700
? Specs: DDR PC2700 ? CL=2.5 ? Unbuffered ? NON-ECC ? DDR333 ? 2.5V ?
128Meg x 64
The fact that the 2GB one is registered EEC shouldn't make a difference
should it?
Yes - even if it physically fits it won't work.
