to get it to stop rendering them, at least though the UI. might be a
plist you can edit for it though, which vaguely rings bells.
defaults write com.apple.mail PreferPlainText -bool TRUE
Stick this in Terminal while Mail is not running, and it forces Mail to
prefer the plain text version (if available).
Interesting - still, if there's no plain text version, it'll still
render incoming HTML, and I don't want that. And I don't want to miss
HTML emails either.
Just think of me as a paranoid idiot and leave me to my own damnation -
probably best.
