That fill works pretty quickly here... typing text results in a bit of a
delay, but fills are quick.
Try changing font size and font with a reasonable amount of data in the
*** it falls over...
Again, there's a bit of a wait but it does it.
Try inserting a cell and shift the data down, left or right from our
findings so far you can't do it and several of us on various computers
have tried to work it out maybe someone has the answer??
About 3 seconds to add a column before in a 40 row table. I'm using an
1Ghz iLamp with 768Mb and loads of apps open.
I *have* to download the trial version. I've read many rather negative
comments about Pages, which actually is IMHO a quite nice DTP app for
the rest of us and in most cases even quite zippy and gets the job done
fine.
There must be a secret iWork flag that is set to "real-slow" for some
people and to "quite-usable" for others, especially on slow hardware.
But maybe we're just more patient?
