Let me know when you want to get rid of the G3 iBook. I've just bought
a clamshell iBook for my daughter, but I suspect she's going to find

Which model is yours?

It's a G3-500; my dad uses it for wireless surfing atm and wants to
replace it with a MacBook (forgot that name when I first posted) so it
has 11b Airport card and I replaced the original HD with a 30GB one
about 5 years ago; I put in some memory - base+250 (=500Mb?), afair. I
would not think it much use as the screen is playing up. He tells me
it works in one position only and is dim elsewhere, so I guess it to be
one its way out, hence replacement. If that is no problem let me know.
