I just posted a new picture on my blog
http://www.autresdirections.co.uk/blog/
It is a colour photo, converted to b&w in Photoshop. When I view the
jpg in PS, it looks fine. When I look at the blog in Safari, it also
looks fine. When I used Firefox, it looks bad - very dark! At work, I
use a PC and when I display the photo on IE it looks even worse!
Any colour gurus know what might be going wrong? And how to fix it?
Thanks for any tips !!
Try changing the colour mode back to RGB after making the image b&w.
Even though it's a greyscale image, JPG should always be a RGB format
for optimal compatibility, IIRC. Certainly CMYK JPGs don't work at all
on PCs.

Thanks - I'll give it a whirl as soon as I get home !!
