That's what had me baffled. I couldn't see anywhere a statement that an
HE store purchase automatically has a 3 year warranty, which IIRC it did
a couple of moths ago.
When I bought my Blackbook from the HE store last year, I was offered
the chance to buy Apple Care for three years for a small amount of money
- can't remember how much, but it wasn't free and it wasn't an extended
warranty.
