Thanks to Sara I now have a swanky DC30plus card in my G4. Given that
all I really want to do is transfer some old video tapes, what's the
best app to use? iMovie? Or does it have some limits that might, er,
limit its usefulness? Some of these tapes are four hours long, but
probably could be 'sliced and diced' if needs be.
Forgot to add - free or cheap would be preferred. I have QuickTime Pro
which might do at a pinch but it's perhaps a little *too* basic.
I've done that though so I can't remember how.
Premier 5.1 looked like it was an OS9 app, so I've not installed it -
yet. Might give it a try over the w/e though.
Only Premiere 6.5 will work on OS X, the Xact driver doesn't do OS9. The
Pinnacle drivers don't do anything really useful at all.
