WPA Personal networking

I have just changed my network from WEP that it has always been to WPA.
This is from an old Linksys 54G which I have been using for quite a
while. This also coincides with me getting the Macbook pro and sab
getting the reinstalled Macbook.

Now though the networking is crap. Sometimes it connects when you open
the lid and works, more often it doesn't, and when you disconnect and
connect (which I did occasionaly on the macbook (but not on any of the
others), it appears to connect (the wireless logo goes full), but when
you try to connect to anything, it can't and then it goes grey again.

I thought I had it sorted when it connected several times in a row, but
not.

Should I go back to WEP? A secure network is hardly use if it is secure
from me!
