boy, I don't give a damn what you thought you were saying, what you said
was in fact a mortal insult to me. Ignore that and continue as an

Holy ***.

So apparently if someone looks you in the eye and says to you "E aho mo
parori", they're not insulting you at all, because you have no idea what
they were saying.

But if they say "U fala'a te mofaka", which sounds just like "you fella
are the mo'fucka" and is therefore a mortal insult to you, you will get
outraged and deeply insulted because *your interpretation* was that you
were being insulted.

So, *your interpretation* of Woody's comment was that he was implying
you were a nationalist bigot. And even if he was (which he wasn't),
*your reaction* to that is to be offended. Tell a BNP member they're
being nationalistic and they'll be quite proud and complimented.

I appreciate your unique view on life is such that you can feel
affronted by interpreting something someone said as implying you might
be proud of the country you live in, but I also thought that at the very
least you possessed a modicum of logic, and this distortion of
linguistic responsibility you're touting is just illogical, Captain.
