Thanks - had a look, they look quite pricey! Especially given the fact

Got an unused Linksys wireless router like this one

I don't know if it will act as a bridge by default, but some of the
Linksys wireless routers can run Linux, so can be made to act as a
wirless bridge (or just about anythign else!). It might be a bit of
effort to set one up that way though.
A search for the router model and "linux" should let you find out if
it's an option.
