hi,

i would like to know if there is any way to disable it
thx
Yes, make sure that you have your login option set up so that you can
type in a user name and password (rather than just picking from a list).
Then when you reboot you need to type ">console" as the user name, and
no password - this will then take you into a text-based environment
where you can log in as normal.

thank you it is working but is there anyway to disable the windows
manager at the startup ?
for example if i reboot my computer from a distant place i cant
disable the wm from the terminal

There probably is a way but the only easy way that I can think of is to dump OS X and just install Darwin on its own.
