And a shredder!
I must admit I have a rather nice shredder too now. haven't got it
networked yet though.
How do I get rid of the fact, that when I telnet into another server,
it assumes I am me and not the username I actually want to log into
as? That is, I login and it asks for a password .. I want it to ask
for a username. (BTW.. transparancy.. don't you love being able to
read the web page under your telnet session.. ACE!)
telnet -K <host>
stops it auto logging in.
or just use telnet name@host
What is .mac? Is it worth looking at? (open question I know, maybe I
should just ask if people enjoy using it)
No.
Well, as you say it is an open question. some people seem to like it, it
didn't seem like value to me.
I use a XDMCP client heavily ie: excced and Xwin, does anyone know of
a good one for mac? I did sense there was one built in, but I can't
find it. (That's the trouble when you come from a unix back ground, if
somethings made too easy.. you miss it).
ChickenOfTheVNC?
PUBLISHER.. the microsoft stuff... is there a version for Mac? I have
office, but there is no publisher?
Nope. We are lucky that way. There is also no way to read the files.
I've already set up boot camp, has anyone any good experiences with XP
or Vista.. to be honest, I just want to play games?
they work fine, but as you already have several PCs, why would you need
it?
