The latest Firefox... hmmmm!

I decided to have a go at using the latest Firefox. I found that I could
easily use my Google accounts to keep my bookmarks in sync, which I've
been doing with Safari and .Mac up to now.

It didn't start too well. The first thing FF did was to wipe my
keychain, so that the next time it synced, it managed to delete 167
entires. No idea how that happened.

Then it wouldn't use any of its own stored passwords fully, some sites
would only enter the username, some nothing at all.

Then I found that keeping the bookmarks in sync was *all* I could do, I
still have to re-enter my passwords on the iBook too.

Now it's decided to unexpectedly quit on me after closing a window (one
that has worked fine before). This is the first app that's done that in
months.

Editing my .Mac web sites are also impossible, as the pages do not
format properly, and images get completely mixed up.

I'm sorry to say, but FF seems to be working backwards in terms of
development. It's a shame, because it did feel a little snappier than
Safari (although it may just be percieved, rather than real), and some
of the plugins were quite useful, especially the Google one. Not to
mention the access to the Google documents.
