Leaving aside the bits of your question that others have ably answered,
I'm thinking I might (eventually) need three or four email addresses and

simple to get multiple email accounts feeding into one in-box?
I would just add that getting the right hosting service is important.
That's where you can manage your website, email accounts (via webmail
or as an IMAP server), other user accounts (for when you have staff),
files and so on.
I have used Dreamhost (www.dreamhost.com) for this for a while now and
have been really pleased. For about £60 per annum I can host as many
domains and sub-domains as I want, as many user accounts and email
accounts as I am likely to need (about 75 IIRC) and 20 GB of storage
space. I also get one-click installations of software like WordPress
(blogging), ZenCart (ecommerce services) and activeCollab (a BaseCamp
knock-off that I am using as my online project management software). I
don't often wax lyrical about things as dull as hosting services, but
this works well for me, effectively enabling me to move significant
parts of my business information amd services to the internet (my
business is internet services consultancy rather than PR consultancy
but I'm sure you will share many of the same needs).
You also asked about Mac project management software. This is a sad
story I'm afraid. If you want a good package just for you to use on
your Mac then there are good ones - PMX and Merlin for example. The
biggest problem with PM software is where you have to work with MS
Project users and send plans back and forth. Put simply, MS Project
doesn't interoperate with ANY of the packages I have tried. The
consequence for me is that I keep a PC with a copy of MS Project on it
just for cases when I need to do shared project planning with Windows
users. Mind you I am tending towards using activeCollab for most things
now anyway so its not a major problem for me.
Hope this helps.
