Why do some people but a Ford rather than a Vauxhall? A BMW rather than a Mercedes? I really don't think there is much in it these days - each has their advantages.. and their problems. It's down to personal choice.

I'm assuming when you say PC, you mean Windows rather than Linux but the arguement still holds. Decide what you want it to do, narrow it down then buy the one that feels right to you.
