Sorted. The transformer was blown (how?) and I misread the print on the replacement I tested & had it set to 1.5 volts instead of 15.


So you nearly had the world's first 300baud router?


I've done routing at 1200 bps (half duplex) in the past - TCP/IP over narrow band FM packet radio (VHF). Glacial.
