Yes, darn it. Precise meaning suffers because of my penchant to dive
right in, not to mention my sloppy use of prose.

The imprecise nature of our language and the common misuse of language
do not help much either.

I can't get by with such sloppy usage of language here, else my feet
will be held to the fire. ;-)
