Oh yes, that's pretty clear looking at the progress bar moving at a
labour saving pace.

All in all, a smashing camera.

Nice to see you back too! Was the trip good?

Wonderful. I always love being in San Francisco; we had what I'd call a
packed programme and we were all knackered by the end- certainly
including me. But we saw some great stuff including some totally
gob-smacking places such as a Christian Science church in Berkeley which
was unlike any other space I've ever seen. One problem was that wealthy
art lovers in the Bay Area competed to feed us wonderful goodies (the
Funiture History Society is connected with the V&A and in its field it's
the kind of organisation that carries cachet) and although you can Just
Say No it's all too good for that... So I'm not just knackered, I'm
*fat* and knackered. And my genuine affection for 747s in the abstract
is severely dented by spending ten and a half hour in one last night.

But SF is one of the great, relaxed cities of the world, with the most
beautiful light anywhere. It's always infinitely worth being there.

I've not been through the ucsm back posts (and won't have much time for
anything as the trip Anne has organised to Oslo kicks off at
sparrow-fart next Thursday- at least it's a short flight) but I presume
I'm talking to the new, improved, de-stoned Chris Ridd?
