I use my camera daily, and would get really annoyed taking the card out
all the time. I just connect it to the mac and iPhoto grabs the
pictures.
Because USB2 card readers are significantly faster than a cable from the
camera.
Even USB2 cameras?
I know iPhoto is much maligned, but I like it.
I wasn't saying that iPhoto was useless or anything - just that card
readers are the best way of getting photos onto the computer, IMHO.
For a large number of pictures, yes.
