Mac OS X compatible digital cameras

There seems to be so may digital cameras on the market place I don't know what to choose. I currently use an OM 10 for serious work and another Olympus zoom for 'keep in the car in case'.
So I'm looking for any advice and good or bad experience on mid price compact systems with the following (I'm not ready to go away from film for an SLR system)
1) OS X compatible (iPhoto or decent OS X compatible drivers and programs)
2) optical zoom equivalent to about 30 - 75 or better on 35 mm
3) macro good enough for detail photos of antiques so I don't have to use the OM 10 with extension tubes.
4) viewfinder or screen suitable for a left eye dominant user, my existing cameras have a greasy nose mark on the case because the viewfinder is on the 'wrong side'. Do I need to look for image stabilization if I view by screen in low light?
Thanks for any advice
Pete H
