I had a hard disk failure on my 12" PB this week. Having read some
articles on the web (and solicited help from the sage folks here) I
chickened out and took it to a repair centre. I don't mind taking my
machines apart normally but this just had Bad Day written all over it.

The 12" are a bit of a bitch, but not as bad as the 15." Who made that top
case latch? Ejit.
