Is it possible to use Pages (whatever version) to make booklets that canDepending on the copier, it may all do it on the copier, especially if

What I have in mind here is:
an A5 booklet with
one *** of A4 card to form the front and back covers
pages from A4 paper folded in half
staples in the centre
The pages produced on A4 will have to be:
1. last page first page
2. second page second-last page
3. third-last page third page
4. fourth page fourth-last page
And so on.
Or perhaps there is a some other application which can take a series of
PDF pages and do the necessary re-arranging?
it is a unit the does saddle stitching. It is actually more tricky if
you try and do this before hand.
To do this to our Konica units, you would just produce the document in
the usual 1,2,3,4 etc way, set page size to A5, hit print, tell it the
A4R draw, pick fold and staple, booklet mode, combination, print.
Out comes the booklet ready made. Easy peasy.
If you are in a really jazzy mood you can even pre-print the covers (say
you wanted card or colour), then get the copier to add this cover to
each job for a nicer result.
I think most of the other big copiers do now but when we had our first
Konica 4-5yrs ago it was one of the few. I've got to talk copiers this
month as we've a few up for renewal, which may explain why Konica has
invited me to a F1 test day this month :-D [1]
[1] Yes too damn right I'm going.
