I remember that on older windoze laptops, that often caused a bit of a
slowdown if it was mirrored rather than actually switched. Is this the
case? I know it's going to cause more battery drain, should I be using
it like that, than it would if the screen was off entirely.
If you are using an external keyboard and mouse can't you just shut the
lid like on the PowerBooks.
Um, dunno. I don't think I'd trust it to stay cool enough for long periods, though. It does get *rather* toasty just near the hinge!
