Further help much appreciated.
My wife & I have a similar system. We have seperate OSX logins, and seperate POP mailboxes "graham@xxxxxxx and bridget@xxxxxxx .
I pick up my mail on my login, she picks up hers on her side. Mail addressed to anything other than graham@ or bridget@ lands in the main inbox on our pop server, and is picked up on a "first come first served" basis.
I used Symbolic Links (they're a bit like aliases) to create his & hers shared mailboxes. If any of my mail gets picked up on her login, she can simply dump it into my shared mailbox, and vice versa. I could setup mail filtering to do this automatically.
This only works with Symbolic Links - Mail will not follow a MacOS alias.
